We landed last night to -31°C temperatures, which was a bit of a shock, and it hasn’t gone much above that yet.
So far the Yukon is great, though. Our cab driver mentioned that today is the start of the Yukon Quest, a 1000 mile sled dog race from Whitehorse to Fairbanks, Alaska. It was exciting to watch them start out on what will be nine to fourteen day journey for them.
I promise there will be some photos up showing the action once we are back in Vancouver.
